The Camden County Police Department/Camden City Metro Division will:

Have more boots on the ground
• 400 or more police officers will patrol Camden neighborhoods and business corridors
• More police officers will be out of their cars & walking through our neighborhoods
• Camden City Metro Division will be made up of members of the Camden City Police Department and other highly trained qualifies candidates that know our city

Have a seamless transition
• No disruption of police protection for residents & businesses during transition
• Camden will have police officers patrolling our city at all times and phases of the transition
• Residents will see more police officers as process moves forward

Bring back community policing
• Police Officers will be highly engaged and responsive to community needs
• Residents will be able to interact and connect with their community police officers
• Community patrols will concentrate on providing a safe environment for our children and families

Be your community police
• Metro Division of the Camden County Police Department will only police/patrol Camden City
• Camden City officials will ALWAYS be actively involved & engaged in the Metro Division undertaking - now & in the future
